Mary Kom - Pride to India and the North-East

Mary Kom is a five time world championship winner.in women's boxing. She is from North eastern India, a Manipuri and a mother of two.
     Well Mary Kom indeed had not achieved such great recognition and respect that she deserved before in India despite of being a five time world chanpionship in women's boxing.
    But her journey to the Olympics 2012 in London making her bring back a bronze medal home made every Indian so proud of her. Mary Kom is indeed the first woman in India to win a medal in the Olympics in the field of boxing. Must say Mary made the north east and whole India so proud of her.

Are Tourists so Bored of Mirik?

Mirik has always been an awesome location for tourists and has always been a hotspot as a popular tourist destinations.
    But it is also true that tourism is also degrading in Mirik day by day. There was a time when Mirik used to ve flooded with tourists with all hotels packed and the lake crowded. But now it seems that the Mirik lake is the only possible tourist attraction and there isn't any additional tourist attraction in Mirik that could drive more tourists. There has been.no development in Mirik to promote tourism and tourist inflow.
     Today most tourists prefer to visit tourist spots in Sikkim than Mirik due to the lack of competitive tourist attraction and maybe tourists visiting the Mirik lake are actually bored of it. What is your say about that ???

Housemafia Project KTM - Nepali Boys Making Electronic Music Come into Life

Housemafia Project Ktm is all about electronic music, a true nepali citizens making some electronic beats along with some 80's disco music influence the name Housemafia Project Ktm sounds as if they are only specialize on house music but no. Housemafia Project Ktm is also into classy retro things too, because of their music they got into vintage stuffs and photography.

Housemafia Project ktm was formed in 2010/09.Simply saying they decided to throw a party on 2009 december, there were 6 of us all together, slowly one of our friend was not interested in throwing parties then he gave up Housemafia Project . After that 6 come down to 5 the name of group was kept by Sumit Rajbhandari. Than again something went wrong and 5 came down into 2 we were scared that our project might collaps, only two members are now left and we promised to each other that we will work together until our death. So this was the main moto that Housemafia Project is alive today. Housemafia Project is doing well now they played many gigs last year and had a great time.

        Housemafia Project ktm, meaningly “House” is all about special genre of Electronic music.The group Housemafia Project ktm is named after that genre means that they are mafia's of that genre not beside then that, some people might take it other ways. It was formed on november 25, 2009. Its not only band its a project. Consisting of two members playing and sharing the love of Nepali and International electronic music all over nepal .Before Housemafia Project was formed,two existing members had visited Kalimpong Darjeeling & Sikkim they saw many Bands and they got highly influenced by those motivated members and after returning to there hometown they decided to form Housemafia Project. In whole band only two person was devoted towards Housemafia Project.They are the same two of the, who visited Darjeeling  and Sikkim. They both have seen and understood that what  is required to sustain a band for a life time.
The most important thing about the band is that they themselves does a event and makes it happen anyhow. It is a 1st electronic band of Nepal though there are many electronic deejays in kathmandu. It is really difficult for us to get into a proper track and play our mainstream music because people here still does not understands the music that they plays only some does that is not effective for a proper party environment . Band's publicity is making a video,music and  a photoshoot  each and eyerything is done by the two band members and a little help from Mr Basnet. Band is still in struggling period till now, because most of the people doesn't know about there project.

        They are the only Nepal's 1st electronic band know yet. They are independent djs but not a group like them. They played in many other’s events but most of the people leave the floor because they doesn't understand the music that they plays. People who stays in the floor understands the music and starts to dance, thinking as if they are the only one in the club. They kills the average crowd with there powerfull music and takes people to a different world of Housemafia Project !!!.Lastly abbreviation for HMP is “Housemafia Project”

‎"एक जना बिराउने शाखा नै पिराउने भने को जस्तो "हाम्रो मिरिक मा यस्ता अजै पनि यस्तो मान्छे हरु छ बदार ले आफ्नु घर पनि बनाऊदैन र अरु को पनि बनाउ दिदैन .. एक त मिरिक को दिन दिनै सुन्दरता हराउदै गई रहेको बेला मा ..बल्ल बल्ल केहि मिरिक को फुलबारी क्षेत्र मा केहि हरु लगाए का थिए ...ति जंगली मान्छे हरु ले डुंगा ले हानेर हानेर ...सबै तोडी दिएको छ ...अनि वारी पारी बस्ने कुर्सि हरु पनि चोरेर ;आफ्नु घर मा लागेको छ ..अनि वारी पारी को हरेक रात रुख हरु पनि चोर्ने गर्छ लु अब भन्नु होस् त ति मान्छे हरु कस्ता असभ्य होला ?? मेरो बिचार मा यो सब जिम्मवारी उनि हरु को हुन्छ जो ..हरेक दिन आफ्नु रोजी रोटि को निम्ति पर्यटक हरु लाई मनुरंजन गराउन घोडा खेपछ ,अनि जसले वारी पारी रेडी गाडी हरु मा पसल राख्छ ..सर्ब प्रथम ति सब चिज को सुरक्षा गर्ने उनि हरु को हो !तपाई को बिचार मा को होला मिरिक मा यस्ता खराबी गर्ने ??? बहिरा बाट त त्यो सब गर्ने मान्छे हरु त आउदैन

Migratory Bird Left Alone in Mirik Lake

A migratory bird that was left by its group because one of its wings was broken. It was very lonely, depressed  was in need of medical assistance as enlightened by the local people in the Mirik Lake area. I posted this in this blog hoping if anyone concerned viz Veterinarians, Wildlife officials etc..happen to read this post n will take some initiative.
